The good thing about Scotland is the mountains, the roads on them and the freshness of the air.
Im on earlie’s this week, So expect photo’s in the evening.
When Mintofruit sent out the stickers, we were itching to see where you guys were gonna place them! These photo’s JUST up now of where Fraser Allan’s placed his.
Fraser’s just getting into the car scene but already has his head screwed on straight with his first car. This little mini will be getting fully shot when he gets past his driving test and get a few more toys added here and there!
She’s a 1998 Mini Cooper 1.3 Single port injection weapon with some nice little mini light dish’d rims all round giving the little car some nice stance for a first motor to say the least. Fraz has already begun work on the interior with removing the rear seats, plan’s on way for buckets, new wheel is on route along with some further strengthening parts to make sure this thing holds her own!
Thats what I like to see! Some good old reppin it hard stickers to show who you support! Looking forward to the future plans!.. Keep it fresh Fraz! This is also the Brother is another Crew member Kyle (DC2 ITR) Looks like were keeping it in the family ;).. werd!
TBW Consist’s currently of only 2 known member in the world. The minty.fresh Ichi Go, and the VIP built for Touge RX8; owned by non-other than Shaz.
This RX8 Sports some seriously big names. From the Fujita Engineering a.k.a. FEED Aero, the Advan Model T5’s to even the KIC’s Wheel nuts! No corner has been short handed on this car, and no other car sounds close to the F1 Sounding Rotary powering this machine.
Luckily for myself, Shaz was up in the deen for a JDMtas meet, which is when i got my chance to snaps some pics. Alas.. looking back, I was seriously lacking ability and the lens put me to shame. Thankfully Thacko will have taken better pics, but until then.. here we go.. TBW’s RX8!
Now this car wont just be found pottering down to the shops.. its set up for downhill touge.. and from what iv already experienced, not much comes close!
Nothing feels better than rolling the coast of roads up in the highlands – well.. the only thing better is knowing that this one location is all to your own.. the only thing to worry about is the wild life! Just a breather.. of what will be to come in Japan.
Few minor issue’s with certain 180sx’s but we shant go into that right now.
Thats right.. ISO Setting at 1600 and a shutter priority of 1/1000 to even 1/1250.. just to get some kind of photo. Needless to say with the ISO being so damm high to compensate for the lack of light from the tree’s and shutter being open for very little time.. the noise is epic! Anyways..
Doune Hill Climb – Im not going to pretend I know what this Is all about and post up times and names or locations etc, I’ll post what I know.
Al was heading down.. after reports along the lines of .. “Yeah, It’ll be epic.. by far the best hill climb out of all of them!” I was kinda excited to see what the scope was.
Picked up at a nice and early time of around 7.35.am we set off down south to hit this stage up – If you can make anything out from the pics, this stage was very much like a Touge in ways. Narrow road, barriers in case of that more than common off in the rain.. this place was fast paced, alot of action and some nice tyre burners!
Off to bed.. day visit tomorrow..
WOW.. the footage came out 10x when i uploaded it, Must of been the process settings. I’ll look into it, and re-upload sometime.
Huge thanks to 3L for the sound track – This dude’s got some bangin beats to be had.. Looking forward to the album.
There you have it..
mata ne . ,
The Alford Transport Museum held the next round of the Scottish Sprint Championship.. this being Round 9. With it held only but a stone throw from my back garden (No Joke) I had no reason not to attend. Manning up with Kyle and Al we headed on down.
FINALLY! Iv done them.. out of 200 snaps, I narrowed it down to 39. Some nice cars to be seen and some good times set on the oval8. Car of the day for me was the EVOX sporting Advan rims, Carbon everything and 2x Bride seats nicely painted on the rear by non other than Japanese body shop that painted the Signal Auto tuned world famous R34. Mazora is the name of the Chameleon paint used on the backing and its these little things.. that made that car .. so much better, than the rest!
Another good wee event to show face to and have a laugh. Cheers for getting me up Al man :p haha – Check Al’s Car Stuff blog for more snaps of the event.
